Meals and Nutrition

All food at Little Shipmates Day Nursery is prepared and cooked on the premises by a qualified Chef. A mid morning snack is provided at 10.15am, with a hot lunch served at midday and tea at 4pm.

The three-week menu rota is displayed in each cabin and copies are available on request. If your child suffers from allergies or has special  dietary requirements for medical or religious reasons, please contact the Manager who will arrange to meet to discuss these with you prior to your child starting at the nursery.

Our aim is to make mealtimes an enjoyable part of the nursery day as well as a time to develop social skills.

Please be aware Little Shipmates is experiencing problems with it's normal telephone and internet line. BT are aware of the problem and working to a solution, however the nursery has no internet/email connection at present. A call divert is in place to the fax machine in the office  as a temporary measure. Posted 20th July 2010
