With its central location, Sunrise Day Nursery has a fabulous atmosphere and draws children and parents from a variety of local communities. Our staff are skilled in supporting children and families for whom English may not be the first language, and has long stood as a beacon of excellent care standards in the Southampton area. Strong links with the local authorities and Southampton City College ensure that educational standards are always high, and experienced staff provide an exciting and stimulating nursery curriculum ideal for a multicultural world.
- Open Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year
- Open during school holidays
- Full day: 8am to 6pm
- Morning session: 8am to 1pm
- Afternoon session: 1pm to 6pm
- Open all year round with term time places available
Making sure all families can access affordable childcare
All staff at The Little Shipmates Family are very experienced in all aspects of funding support. No matter what your circumstances, our team is always on hand to help you get as much support as possible to lessen the financial strain of childcare. All workplace vouchers are accepted, as are all forms of student finance and tax credits. We also liaise with both City College and the universities to support students with their childcare needs, and can happily help you through the process if you are unsure. We offer 10% discount for siblings. We also offer a 5% discount for all full-time children. Our rates are fixed across all ages, so you won’t end up paying more for a younger child.
Healthy, balanced meals
Young children need a varied and well-balanced diet in order to learn, grow and reach their full potential. At Sunrise Day Nursery, all meals are cooked on site by our highly experience chef providing balanced and nutritious meals. Our staff also always work closely with parents to ensure the child’s individual needs and any special dietary requirements are met.
