Sunrise Day Nursery is a warm and welcoming setting where children feel safe, settled and confident from the moment they arrive. Located in Southampton, the nursery offers a calm, nurturing environment designed to help children feel comfortable, curious and ready to explore each day.
Children learn and play in bright, well-organised rooms that support them from babyhood through to preschool age. Each space is thoughtfully arranged to encourage independence, creativity and purposeful play, with a balance of child-led and adult-guided experiences that allow learning to happen naturally through everyday play.
Outdoor play forms an important part of the daily routine, giving children opportunities for fresh air, movement and exploration. Whether engaging in imaginative play, exploring resources or taking part in planned activities, children are supported to build confidence, resilience and a strong sense of self in a happy, stimulating environment that prepares them well for their next step.

Listening to Families, Supporting Children
At Sunrise Day Nursery, we believe the best outcomes for children happen when nursery and home work closely together. We actively listen to our parents and use their feedback to help shape the experiences and activities we offer each day.
When parents share challenges they are facing at home, including tooth brushing, toilet training and personal hygiene, our team looks at positive, age-appropriate ways to support children through play, routine and gentle encouragement.
By adapting our activities to reflect real experiences at home, we help children develop important life skills while offering reassurance and support to families. This partnership approach ensures consistency, builds confidence for children, and helps make everyday routines easier both at nursery and at home.
